Posting guidelines
Last updated 2026-08-30
These are the rules for what may be posted here. They exist to keep the site useful and to protect both the people who write posts and the businesses they write about.
Write what happened to you
Post about your own experience, first hand. Not what a friend told you, not what you read in a group. Say what you agreed, what you paid, what you received, and when. Specifics are the entire value of a post: "I paid $200 for a three-day trip and the vehicle never arrived" is worth a hundred posts saying an operator is bad.
State opinion as opinion
There is a real difference between "I paid $200 and got no vehicle" and "they are thieves". The first is something you witnessed and can stand behind. The second is a claim about people that you cannot prove and that exposes both you and this site. Describe what happened; let the reader draw the conclusion.
Do not post
- Anyone’s personal information: phone numbers, home addresses, ID or passport numbers, or photographs of identifiable private people without their consent.
- Posts about private individuals. This site is about businesses and services, not people.
- Accusations of a crime stated as established fact. Describe what happened to you instead.
- Content you did not write, or photographs you do not have the right to publish.
- Advertising, affiliate links, or posts written on behalf of a business about itself.
- Anything you were paid or compensated to write, in money or in kind.
Prices
- Record the amount you actually paid, in the currency you paid it in. Do not convert it yourself.
- Always give the date it happened, not the date you are posting.
- Say what the price included, and whether it was per person, per night, or total. A number without its unit misleads.
Scam reports
A scam report must name the business, give the date, and describe what happened to you. Anonymous reports about an unnamed operator help nobody and cannot be answered.
A business you name can respond, and its response is published directly beneath your post. We will not remove your post because a business objects to it, and we will not edit what you wrote. We will remove a post that breaks these guidelines, and we will tell you why.
Good experiences matter as much
A site of nothing but complaints tells you where not to go and never where to go. If an operator was fine, say so plainly, with the same detail you would give a complaint. Positive posts are what make the negative ones credible.
How this is enforced
Reports go to a person, not a filter. Every moderation decision is recorded with a reason. Posts from very new accounts that allege a scam or contain outbound links are held for review before they appear. Repeatedly breaking these guidelines will cost you your account.
